"Dreaming Mirrors"

DREAMING MIRRORS
When my kids were little, I amused them with songs and fairytales; I often sang and "storied" them to sleep each night. Same with my grandkids. Songs, tales and Muse imagination fueled the ideas behind this collection of 10” x 10” wood Ikea Dreaming Mirrors. The frame size is 10" x 10" with a center 4" square reflective surface. Materials: is wood, painted and glazed with acrylic paints and varnishes.

CRESCENT MOON ROSE QUEEN  The Rose Queen, in her fecundity, is enveloped in the perfume of night blooming scarlet and red roses. Always pensive at the vision of the crescent moon, she smooths her turquoise gown, breathes a sigh and makes an offering to the night sky full of stars, for her world to remain growing, beautiful, and in balance.

DROPS OF JUPITER
“Drops of Jupiter” fall out of the sky onto a forest of evergreen trees, creating a misty rain that energizes and nourishes the white messenger bird, who flies off with a secret.

MISTRESS RAINBOW MOON AND SPIRIT BIRD: Spirit Bird Messenger flies above rugged green mountains, illuminated by the ephemeral light of Mistress Moon, Queen of the Night Sky, in her glorious rainbow prime.

MOON AND STAR WITH DOVES  The waning gibbous moon, always a gentleman, confers with the brightest star in the sky, as night birds fly above green hills, illuminated in the moon’s light.

SCREECH OWLS IN THE NIGHT   A family of screech owls alights onto evergreen branches under a full golden moon. Mysterious orbs surround their perch. This painting might please owl enthusiasts.

WATERLILY UNDER THE FULL GOLDEN MOON  A royal carmine waterlily blooms under the thoughtful gaze of the golden harvest moon, while white doves witness this majesty.
